Hi Gary, have you installed any lights yet?In presentation view you need to right click on the light fitting and adjust light intensity not the shine. Also try placing some lights outside the room back from the windows and play around with the heights and intensity to get the right effect
You place the light fixtures in Custom Layout. There is a dome light a chandelier, a ceiling fan and a can light. You can associate a light fixture to a wall and go to that walls elevation view to change the height of a fixture.
I just use the lights for their illumination and hide them for the final Presentation View so the fixture type doesn't matter.
Place your lights then render a presentation view with the lights. This lets you click on the light fixtures to adjust their intensity. Once you have the lighting the way you want it, exit presentation view to the render view and right click then choose Show/Hide and check the light fixture box. Click OK and your lights will be hidden from view.
