Label location

Post by Paul Ford »

Hi all,
I have a customer who cuts alot of his work on a dimension saw. Being a Router user, I wouldn't have a clue how the labelling works when cutting on a dimension saw.
Is there any particular way to place the label on the individual part so the edgebanding shows the correct edge to be edges when cutting on a dimension saw? On the router we face the machine and put the label straight on and the edgebanding line shows the correct edge that needs clashing.
Its not so bad with parts say 1000x400 but if you are edging something that is 500x500 finished size it can be a mission to guess which edge needs to be done without a tape measure.
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this for me :)

When using a dimension saw and a cut list from ecabinets, the cutlist will tell which side of a part gets edgebanding on it. It is the operator of the saw who will need to determine which side of the part he is cutting is the side that gets edgebanding.
