67.5 angle cutter

Hi everyone,
Rather than ask a fundamental question to my Thermwood trainer that he may have already told me I was hoping you guys could help me first.
I have a cabinet that goes into the corner of a room. I have a cut of corner of 45 degrees. I bought a cutter which is a 67.5 degree to create this 22.5 angle.
We ran a test cabinet to see how this would work but instead of picking up this cutter it just used a 6.5mm straight cutter as I haven't a ball cutter fitted. It then went backwards and forwards trying to create the profile. I have read the manuals again but can't see what I have not set correctly.
Have I done something wrong here? Have I bought the correct cutter?

With the purchase of the ball cutter do you just have one or do you have different sizes? I mainly do kitchens not furniture if that makes a difference in advice.

Yeah Damon I am having fun.
I feel like a paraplegic learning to walk again.
No pain no gain they say.
We are still scratching the surface of what features the new software and hardware can do.
The opportunities are endless.
I'm still at the stage of waking up in the middle of the night thinking of new ideas and things I need to do.
I think they should supply a bottle moonshine with each machine for medical reasons.
Had hoped to be doing something with doors last week but still chewing through the seed cabinet testing.

Yes, you will have fun and the possibilities are endless. We were trying something new yesterday with some other software (Programming issue) and had a little mishap with some MDF catching on fire. Stay close to your machine and don't leave it. I am glad I read Mike's story earlier in the year about his fire incident, I installed a fire extinguisher next to out machine and it came in handy yesterday. No big problem, I was standing there when it happened, so we just scorched the panel a little.

Thanks for the tip Damon about the fire issue. I tend to do that with leaving the machine to its own devices.
I had a similar fire experience a couple of years back.
I was given some conveyor rubber from the mining industry for floor mats in front of machines.
One of the tradesman thought it would be good to make a new mat for a older pick-up truck whose mats had the seen better days.
He used the panel saw to cut them to shape.
About a hour latter after everyone was gone home except me the portable dust extractor that is connected to the panel saw caught on fire. It must have just smoldered away for two hrs or so.
I caught it just in time and pulled the bag away and spread the dust contents over the floor.

I said to myself I better get some smoke alarms setup to the burglar Alarm but that is still on my to do list

It was ArtCam, I purchased it with the router but just have not had any time to play with it. I figured after spending 10k for the software, I might want to try and incorporate its potential into some projects. I guess I was fortunate though. I did not have the dust hood on and I was able to see the sparks. I guess it could have been real bad if it had made it to the dust collector. Lucky for me all I need is a new spoilboard and waste board. They need replaced anyway so no problem.

I was cutting some Harley-Davidson signs out. I guess I shouldn't talk about that though. (Copy right laws )
