Metal/Glass Doors?
I'm doing a job with metal framed glass doors. (See pic). Any good ideas for how to get a door like this into eCabs? Does eCabs offer a way to add new types of doors beyond the Conestoga and slab doors provided?
Thanks,
Pat

Could you not use a MDF door with the inner rout to that profile, then add the finish that you want?

Re: Metal/Glass Doors?
Thanks, Rick. I could try that. Would the glass automatically sit in the frame like in the picture?
I was able to make a simplistic metal and glass door by taking a Comestoga TW-10 door (frame only + glass) and changing the texture to a silver/gray. Any idea where I can find a texture that looks like brushed aluminum? Any way to frost the glass?
Cheers,
Pat

I've been playing around with the MDF doors. I made a tool thinking that it would remove the center portion and create the step profile, but the program will not allow the removal of the center material

It can be done with PE cuts and display panels, they just can't be resized.

Rick,
Thanks. Those look pretty darn close. What's a "PE cut"?
Thanks,
Pat

Re: Metal/Glass Doors?
Hi Pat
Here is one you can play with
The cabinet is all metal should resize
Door is 3/4"x 2" (Stretchers)
Cabinet is 1/16" metal ends are bent up
All you have to do is resize the glass
