Attaching Face Frames

Post by Gary Puckett »

Would like to know if anybody has used plastic splines ti attach face frame.
These splines are the ones conestoga use on their RTA cabinets.

Looling for a fast and reliable way to attach face frames.
The way I am attaching them now is with biscuits and pocket screws (very time consuming)

Gary,
You can use blind dado construction off the front side of the cabinet. You will need to change your FF board stock to sheet stock, and nest the FF along with the rest of the parts. You may know about this already. I just wanted to remind you if you had not.

Thanks Todd,

But I am referring to the real assembly not drawing with eCab.

Gary,
I am aware of that. The machine will cut the parts. I was just letting you know that this is an option for attaching FF to a cabinet. That is all.
