I added some Blum hinges to a seed cabinet. They are $2.29 as per the software.
When I go to the website they are $2.60. What gives?
Should I disregard the costing element of eCabs for esimating jobs?
Were you logged into the web store when you checked the price?
There are two different prices: one for ecab members and one for the average joe. You should always get ecabinets price while in ecabinets. If you are on the web store, you have to login to see your ecabinets member price.
Very good point, Rick. By default, the Woodworker's Wholesale site lists a more "retail" price. To attain the eCabinet Systems member price, the user should do the membership verification in the upper, right-hand corner of the site's home page.

I associated Blum hinges to a cabinet.
I open eCabs, design my job, then access the Buy List.
It gives me my hinges ( BL-71T5590 ) at $1.74 each ( this is from within the program )
If you go to the website, there are 2 other prices, one for ecabs members at $1.97 & one for woodworkers wholesale at $2.46
If I order straight from within the ecabs program, what price am I paying?
I hope that its the $1.74 ( not obviously because its cheaper ) but because I need to know if my estimation is accurate.
I wont rely on ecabs for estimation if the prices cant be relied on or I have to go outside the program to the website and order there.
