Animation
Does anyone thimk it would be cool to have animation for some projects.
I don't know if it is even possible, but think about the presentation it would be awesome.
Awhile back I made a fly tieing table for a client and in the center of the table was a tall round shelf unit on a turn table.
With a remote control the shelf unit would rase up to expose a computer monitor, and then the monitor if you wanted to could rotate 360 degrees.
Can you imagine showing that in your presentation.

Re: Animation
Gary, I don't know about you, but it's pretty animated watching me try to get these cabinets cut out on time running around like a one armed paper hanger.

Damon,
Try doing it all by hand without the router. Sometimes I feel like I'm growing roots, or the wife will ask if I'm going to retire on that job

Re: Animation
That's an amazing piece of work Gary... wow!
Sorry I don't have anything to add about animating it, but had to comment on the piece.
Actually come to think of it, you could use a screenshot program (maybe the built-in one?) and take a screen shot, move the image on the screen, take another, repeat ad nauseum, then put it all together. It'd probably be rough, but doable, definitely time-consuming... using all this high technology to do old-timey stop-frame animation.
Anyway, great work!

Re: Animation
If you have an MPEG (camcorder) file of the popup raising, email it to me and I can convert it to an animated GIF that will be much smaller in file size. My avatar is an example of an animated GIF that I created as is the spinning globe logo on the eCabWorld website.

Re: Animation
Dan,
Thanks for the offer but like I said it's an older project about 3 years ago and I don't think too many people are going to want a piece like this and it was very pricey. It's one of a kind
Nice to know that it could be done.
