Face frame cabinets

Post by john r vickerman »

I am having issues with beaded face frames and inset doors? The typical detail I like to use is a flush face frame to the interior case sides and bottom, stiles and rails are typically 1 1/2" wide, so the stiles are shared by flanking cabinets.

My question is how do you deal with the 1 1/2" stile that is flush to the inside of the cabinet within your seed cabinets? Do you put a 3/4" stile on the sides ? Do you create seed cabinets with a complete face frame and also cabs with rails only and then place next to each other? ....

I am trying to make the jump to the software but having issues with this.

Thank you for your help.
