Need help with 'stretchers'

Post by Joe Harkin »

I am trying to place interior base rails or moldings around the inside of bookcase tops. I put one across the back as a stretcher, but the system will not let me put 'stretchers' against the sides, running from behind the faceframe to the back.
How can I do this so that it at least shows in the renderings, if not in the parts list ? :?

You could add a display board of the appropriate size. Remember to associate it to the cabinet or it won't be saved.

OK, Rick; how do I get the partition to be 2" high and up against the sides ?

Joe
Go to the shelf/partition editor. Go in the construction settings, partition. Apply the insets you need to get a partition that is only 2" tall. So you will adjust the bottom inset or top inset. Then click on ok. Now add your partition, once the partition is added to the cabinet you will be able to select either opening of the partition and adjust the width of that to move the partition left and right for the correct placement. I hope this helps.

Sorry I couldn't elaborate more Joe, I was in a hurry earlier. Thanks Justin for taking up the slack.
