Last September I installed the software on a laptop running Vista and didn't have any problems. I am now trying to install on my pc with no luck. The messages I get are:
InstallShield Wizard completed.
The wizard was interrupted before ecab could be successsfully installed.
Your system has not been modified. To complete another time, run setup again.
I click finish to exit wizard and then it says:
Installation complete and now will be updated to latest version.
Then it tells me that Install Shield Wizard completed and ecab has been successfully installed.
It is nowhere to be found in my programs. If I run again and do everything the same, it tells me I have successfully un-installed it.
Any help would be appreciated!

I should have also noted that my pc does not have vista. It has xp.

Is that the only message you get while installing? Does it tell you that you must have at least 256MB RAM to install the software? There seems to be something missing. If you can try to install the software again and note ever screen that comes up and let me know what they say. You can call me when you do this.

Yes I do get the message about the 256 MB RAM to install. I didn't think anything of it because my computer has 256 MB RAM. I really know very little about computers though.

This message is telling you that you do not have enough memory to install ecabinets. You may have 256MB RAM on your computer but you do not have 256MB RAM available. If you are able to add more memory, do so and then install the software. Check our system recommendations, on our website, with your computer specs and make sure your computer meets them.
