3D view in Shelf/Partition Editor
Would anyone else like to have the ability to zoom/rotate/wireframe/explode in the shelf/partition editor? I spend a lot of time going back and forth between it and the main view for several reasons:
1. To make sure I have the adjustable shelf holes correct
2. To make sure I have blind dados right on fixed shelves/partitions
3. To make sure I have front setback correct
I know this would be complicated to do, but I just wanted to throw it out there.

Ben,
I will forward this onto our programmers. This is something you would want to put in an ecabinets feedback, through the software. FYI Thanks for the input.

Press the "F12" function key to do everything you listed except "Explode". This function works in most of the editors.

Re: 3D view in Shelf/Partition Editor
The question is, what else does Dennis know that he's not telling.
Your gonna make us read the book aren't cha Dennis.

Re: 3D view in Shelf/Partition Editor
Well, purchasing the book is a good option.
It is indirectly in the guide. During a training seminar or class I always highlight the use of Hot Keys and remind the users that as they develop with eCabinet Systems the importance of reviewing and using the Hot Keys.
So you don't have to purchase the guide for that little tidbit.
I'm sure that we all have those same little things that we do and don't think much of it. I know that by reading the forum and of course, conducting seminars and classes, that I learn something new each and every time. At last count with just seminars, I've trained over 500 in the three-day crash course. I hope that we're both walking away with new knowledge; I know that I am.
Anyways, I would encourage any user to purchase the guide. For the new user, I've had very positive feedback about the guide, so it could be just the tool you need to learn this very capable software "easier" and "quicker". Give it a shot; I know you didn't spend a lot of $$$$$ for the software, so a few cents to learn it shouldn't break the bank and actually may improve the bottom line.
