We have a little problem when we use the program to determined how many sheets of materials we have to order.
In ou projects there is a difference in the numbers of sheets necessary to do the job between what is shown in the cut list and what appears in the nesting diagram. For MDF sheets for exemple it will say 12 sheets on the top of the cutlist but will show 15 sheets in the nesting, parts placed vertically or horizontally.
Why is that and how can i fix it.
Thanks.

Re: difference between cut list and nesting
Patrick,
Did you open the cut list before or after you nested? Normally you would want to open the cut list after you nest. I have opened the cut list before and it call for a couple million sheets.
