Positioning an assembly

Post by ScotAcree »

How do I move an assembly up off the floor?

I down loaded George Davidson's flower box assembly and have it in the room. Now I am trying to get it to window height.

It is probably simple, but just can not think at the moment.

Associate the assembly to a wall. Open the wall in elevation view. You may need to change the placement settings to "free style". click on the assembly to highlight it and you should be able to move it. After highlighting the assemble you should be able to look in the upper left of the screen and see its position relative to the room.

I tried all of that before and nothing. So then I associated to the wall beside it,and there it was.So I unassociated wall #1,then associated it back and then it was there.
Thanks Damon for getting me on the right track.
