I have a prob with down @ the machine with Labels.
Prob is that some times on parts that dont have tape on them have black bold lines show up on them showing tape both long edges. When My guy is running the therm ( He still learning) He just sees the black lines and tapes. which means wasted tape! some times nearly 5 meters is wasted per rail if he tapes both edges. This happens quite often.
Also on a job we run a few weeks ago i had some big backs that were 2.1 meters long and a normal edgetape label was on this part. which meant more wasted tape!
Werid thing was for the big backs and all the time with the other prob is that it only happens when i nest big jobs. I nested just the backs and when the label printed no edgetape showed up at tall!
Please email me the esj file of the job along with the twd and the export file from Control Nesting to program@thermwood.com so i can test and verify the error. Right now there is no word on the release date of CN 5.42.
Thom, I opened your twd file in CN and printed the labels and saw exactly what you were describing. I resaved your job under a different name without any changes and then created a new twd file. when I nested this new twd file, there was no edge banding on the parts. Did these parts originally have any edgebanding on them?
No these parts that i made never had tape on them. BUT they might of come from a panel i made up that had tape on it along time a go. But went to edge tape area and would of taken it off
