I am still having trouble making a curved crown mold. I just can't get the profile to go on the face of the part. Can anybody explain how to do this

In the example I sent you, the tool is simply a circle and is applied on a partial chain from the bottom of the part. You will have to experiment with plunge settings to get the effect you want.
