profile tool

I've created a profile cutting tool in shape manager and saved it, I then return to Part editor. Then your asked to select a tool, but the tool I created is not in the correct file format. The shape manager saves it in .x_t format, not .tol format. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Brian, you have to highlight the entire profile and then click the "create tool" button, then click on the profile. Then click next. It will then prompt you to set the tool diameter. Once you have done this it will allow you to save this profile with the .tol extension.
