Ver 4 Upgrade

Post by Leo Graywacz »

If I am not going to be using this part of the system, is there any reason why I should apply this upgrade? Is there anything else that has been fixed. I am still having some other issues because of the time extension upgrade. Thanks.

Leo,
I would recommend that you install the update. Even if you do not install the update this time around (update containing the assembly marks), when the next update comes out, your system will be updated with the assembly marks option anyway.

Jason,
Am I correct in assuming installation of the updates resets the expiration date? If that is the case, that reason alone should encourage immediate updates.
When is the next magazine coming out? Did I miss one? Will it be printed or only digital?

Hi Peter,

Each update does not reset the expiration date for the software. The build 3 update back in Nov./Dec. extended the time by a certain date. However we feel that updating on a regular basis is vital.

The next eCabinet Systems digital magazine has been put on hold at this moment. We are still trying to get some more articles for this issue. Future magazines will be digital.

Hi Leo,

If you started to have problems since build 3, please contact eCabinets tech support and give them step by step instructions to the problem that you encountered. That way the programmers are aware of problems that might not have been found.
