I am wondering if anyone has a work around to get c tops to the LDE. I have to do shop drawings for a commercial job and when I put on the c top it shows it wall to wall. I have tried to edit the c top, tried to delete, and even went to the c top editor and back with making no changes. None of it seems to work. I do not want to have to resort to CAD. Help!!!
No it is showing the tops two different lengths depending on what view you are looking at and when I go with it to the LDE it shows the wrong one. Just my luck.
Jerry,
Click and drag the entire run of cabinets plus the couter top. Select the wall, then click on the "view wall elevation" button. You should see the entire run of cabinets, the wall elevation, and the CT. Now click on the LDE button, and select "Take Wall".
Maybe this will help. The cabinets are 108' wide and in the overhead view such as when you are placing items it shows the c top correct but in the area, show wall view it is wrong. The top should be 109" not 226.5". I have emailed it to cabinets@thermwood.com and Justin is looking at it. Just didn't want you all to think I am crazy.
I did that, and I even checked all the cabinets for ghost part editor cuts as well. I tried to edit the countertop, tried to change the overhang settings. I even made them a minus number to see what would happen and it went wall to wall no matter what.
Try deleting and re-adding the cabinet on the right. Something about one of the cabinets is most likely causing this.
You may have to start over and add the cabinets (and counter top) back on-at-a-time until you find the problem. After adding each cabinet, add the counter top and see if the length is correct. If it is, delete the counter top and add the next cabinet, etc.
