Can you have doors on a cabinet with hinge holes and handle holes and then go change the colour of the doors and still keep the PE handle holes in there?
You can only texture match to something that is loaded so you will need to load a display cube with the correct color and then click on the door to get the green mesh. You can then right click on the door and choose texture match, and then click on the cube. Your door should now be whatever color the cube was and still have all of the hardware and PE cuts in it.
Sorry Dan, What i was meaning was have the doors change colour as in change the name of the door to send down to da therm. E.g have doors on there already that are called fudge then some how change the doors over to black. and still keep the PE Holes.
Well, there isnt a magic button to do that. But, you could take the door back to PE, then go to contour mode. Right Click and select create edges. Save the edges off in a DXF. Then delete the door, add new door. Take new door to PE, go to contour mode, load the dxf. Exit contour mode, then cut the shapes to depth. repeat for each door.
If the name is the main thing that needs to be changed, you may get away with just using User Part Name, but this could confuse some people. It would show up as User Part Name - Door Name in the nest.
