Pocketing Problem.
The attached file is a soda can storage cabinet shown with the front removed. You put cans in the top and they stop at the bottom against a short block. My problem is with the pockets for the can shelves (shelves not shown yet) everything is fine when you nest the cabinet with the pockets on one side but as soon as I add the pockets to the opposite side of the partitions I get the (cant find tool for pocket operation) error. I checked and rechecked my DXF files I used for creating the pocket and there is no problem with them, it only happens when the pockets are added to the opposite side! I edited the drawing so that there are partitions with 2 sided pockets and 1 with pockets on 1 side so that you can recreate the problem at the machine.

Re: Pocketing Problem.
Terry,
You will get this if you have two pockets/dados intersecting from 2 sides. Try making one or both of your pockets/dados shallower so they dont cut through into the other pocket/dado. Hth

Re: Pocketing Problem.
The pockets are shallow, less than an 1/8", the strange thing is I made this same cabinet last year with the same file!

Hi Terry
What size did you make them
If I use 1/64 on something like sheet goods or set up a fulldado with 1/64 and I go back and change the high of the shelf
It will ask in for the depth and if I change the color on the sheet goods it will ask me for the depth.
It will do it all the time for me on 1/64 sometimes on 1/32
