E-mailing Files?
I was wondering if anyone can help me with e-mailing files? I design a cabinet and save as a job. Now, I want to send it to another person so that they can open and edit the cabinet and even cut it on their thermwood router. How do I do that?

Easiest way is to bring the cabinet to the editor and then save it to the desktop or another place where you can get to easily. Then you can just attache the file to the email.

I think you have to go to program files eCab. and copy the HSF file then save it to the desk top. Go to your email attach the file and send it.

Re: E-mailing Files?
I used to e-mail a lot of ecabinet fies.
I save as a job in a room. That is an .esj file.
E-mail that file directly.
Sometimes they are too large (over 10 megs) and you need to zip them.

You have to save cabinets in the Cabinets directory tree. Only jobs can be saved outside of the eCabinets directory tree.Leo Graywacz wrote:Easiest way is to bring the cabinet to the editor and then save it to the desktop or another place where you can get to easily...

Re: E-mailing Files?
I do it all the time and the easiest way is to save your cabinets to a BATCH and then send the BATCH to your supplier. Sometimes I have to zip it if there are too many cabs but Gmail has a very high limit to send and usually goes through just fine.John J.
