Applied Cabinet Ends

Is there a better way to apply cabinet ends other than doing the component alignment and then changing all of the insets?

I load a display panel and associate it to the cabinet in the cabinet editor, I actually find it easier than sorting all the insets to get it right in custom layout,but hey its whatever you get used to.

How about this...

• Take a cabinet and remove all but the right end.
• Apply an "end" material" and adjust the parameters relative to the toe and others that can effect it's size, position, etc.
• Adjust the width of the cabinet to just a little more than the maximum thickness of what you applied end material would be.
• Add a USER NAME to the right end and call it "LEFT APPLIED END".
• Save it to your library as "LEFT APPLIED END".

Do the above again, only with the left end and saving it as "RIGHT APPLIED END".

Then it is just a case of dropping it into the room layout or adding it to the Batch entry list.

Thanks, I like your approach Brad, it seems easy to follow and like Al said it's a lot of what you get used to doing.

never thought of that Brad.might give it a whirl.Seems that every time I do an applied end in CL it goes everywhere but where I want it

that works really good the only draw back is that you wind up with a huge number of cabinets and I find that it gets confusing for the guys in the back
