putting doors on a cab is crashing software

I just recently updated to the latest build and while putting doors on the system lock up. I'm developing a cabinet, erasing the doors, attempting to put other doors on then ecabs crashes and has to close down. Why is this doing this? I'm using just a straightforward framed cabinet from the library that comes with the program, you know the cabs with the slab doors and drawers? I'm trying to default to a Thermwood door that I will build in house. please help if you can.

I've been using the software for several years and this has never happened to me

Never mind. I had conflicting .dll's and a hotfix took care of it. if anyone else is having this problem here's a link to the Microsoft knowledge base with an article on how to correct it.
