Line Drawing Editor

Post by Bill Lumley »

I am trying to prepare wall outline views in the Line Drawing editor . I transfer wall one into the editor and it works fine . I transfer wall two in and
I only see an outling of the wall and a few dots in the middle where cabinets are supposed to be . While I am looking at Wall 2 if I go back to wall 1 the page for it goes blank and nothing is visible . I can only see wall 1 now if I exit from the Line Drawing Editor and reneter at wall 1 .

Thanks Bill

Bill,

I do think there is a bug in the LDE.
Try minimizing the eCabinets window and then restore that window when the LDE acts up. This usually works for me.

Interesting behavior :) When I minimze I can get the first room back and the scond room I get back to the state where I can see
the grid and the outline of the room and only about a dozen spots where cabinets should be . I saw this on another job where
I was anable to get one wall into the LDE to dimention for the customer . Any ideas on that one ?

I looked at Bill's job and for some reason the wall he is having trouble with is going to the LDE reversed. You have to rotate the wall 180 degrees to view the cabinets. I have had this happen before and I know some others have reported it. Does anyone remember if there was a fix and what it was?

His build directions are correct.

Was the build direction of the wall reversed when it was created?

I've reported this also and don't believe there is a fix, although it hasn't happened to me for a while
