1991 C50 w/ 9100 control

I am purchasing a 1991 C50 with 9100 control. With this machine I would like to do 2d profile and 3d contour machining. I am under the impression that the control is quite capable however I do not know what cam software or post processor to utilise. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
