Simple 2D

Hey was wondering if anyone could give me a easy way to make some 2D writing for the thermy...Basic layout would be awesome! I'm just trying to make the Shop name in wood with a certain Text..>Have auto cad Lite...what how would i go about writing it to read properly in a DXF format with layers?

Here is the link to the Control Nesting manual. There is a section in the manual that covers all the layer names, what they can be used for, and how they need to be formatted. I hope this helps.
