I do hope I'm in the correct area.
I just made a bar using Assemblies, one cabinet "base", a toe kick, cabinteless face-frames. It was very easy to place and resize as per customer's request.
So my question is I tried to build an island and it never came together very well. Do kitchen islands work better as assemblies?

David, I generally design the way it's going to be built in the shop, which is usually an assembly. The advantage to using the single cabinet is that it can be resized. I don't know if any one method it better than another. Here is an assembly we just did.
