Rendering Anomalies

When I do the final rendering the panels in the doors and cabinets have repetitive woodgrain. Is there a way to get this to look more natural and smooth? Thanks.

Leo,

You will probably need to find a different texture. Textures are tiled and some wood textures with a heavy grain pattern will show the tiling. I like to use some of the Formica and Wilsonart laminate wood textures.

I use the hard maple (natural) for 95% of my renderings. The one that came with the program. I have the problems with the panels in the raised panel doors and the end panels that are plywood. It looks like the program tries to make them into 3-4" boards. And then it shifts the board down a few inches and keeps going like that. It really looks to repetitive. Do you have any suggestions on which texture I can use for the hard maple. Thanks Kerry.

Maybe try some of the quarter cut grains.
