Material Thickness

When I change a material thickness, then open and re-save a job, will the cabinets automatically adjust for the new material thickness? Or do I need to open each cabinet in the the CE and allow them to regenerate individually?

Hi again Nat. What you would probably need to do is create a new material with the new thickness , then use the, change material/sheetstock function so that you would not need to pull each cab into the CE, If it involves doors you would need to create a new door using the new material and then do a global door change using, adjust cabinet features/change/doors. All this after selecting all the cabs you want to change of course.

Nat,

You don't have to have the exact material thickness in the data base for your designs.

When you generate the TWD file you get an option to correct material thickness.

I have all my 3/4" material set to .750 and then 'correct' it before creating the TWD.

Thanks Roger. I had never looked into that tab, but just did, and it does just what I'm looking to do.
