I've only just started using this area of the software. I'm generally just trying to apply outside dimensions to my cabinets from an elevation view. It seems, in order to pick the correct corners of each dimension, I need to zoom in virtually on each cabinet. When I pick the two ends for the dimension, the dimension appears, and all but fills the zoom window so that I can really drag it around...
Is there a way to eliminate all lines except for the outlines?
Also, what is the easiest way to 'stretch' the displayed view so the working page area? Thanks.
When I take a wall or room to the LDE I select the Part button then hide all the moldings, doors.counter tops, etc. that are in the way. This makes it easier to place dimensions. You will still need to zoom in and out a lot. Use the ctrl button and mouse to drag a box to zoom in to select nodes and the Home key to zoom out and place the dimension. You will get fast at it.
Hi Nat,
When in LDE make sure the "Room" tab is selected. Click on one of the cabinets and it should select the room, everything in the room should turn green.
Hold Shift and both mouse buttons and drag your mouse back or forward to zoom
