Axis

Post by Wally Schneeberger »

Is there a way to move the axis in cab editor? I am working on an assembly with a 20" cube and it will only show me one side and the other will be hidden. It revolves from the center of the page and It is impossible to align mldgs. around it.

Wally,

If you are talking about the target you can double click on it or use the ctrl+T keys to select it then you can move it by setting a move increment and use the shift+arrow keys or you can use the ctrl+the right mouse button and drag it with the mouse.

If you want your cube to rotate differently on the axis you must move the cube to start out so that it rotates the way you want it to.

Thanks Kerry -- that was what I was after. I had to move the target and then select everything and move it over.

You only need to use the letter T to select the target designator. The Ctrl key is not required, but based on Kerry's response it doesn't impact this operation.
