Fan Just Races
Everyone knows I have Vista, so ever since the new web site came up every time I go to it the fan in my system starts running fast. This happens on my 32 bit laptop and my 64 bit desk top. When I close the site down the fan stops racing
Does anyone else have this happening to them ?
Gary

Re: Fan Just Races
Your excitement over getting eCabinets version 6 and Winndows 7 has rubbed off on your PC and its just breathing hard.
Make sure all of your air vents (intake and fan exhaust) are clean. If they get covered with dust it will cause the interior temp to rise and the fan to come on more often.

Re: Fan Just Races
Gary,
I tried an experiment and I get the same results you found. When I visit the eCabinet Systems Home page, after a few seconds, the fans on my laptop run at full speed. When I leave the eCabinets site , in just a few seconds they idle until I go back to the eCab site. I don't know the cause.

Re: Fan Just Races
I don't think so. It just means that it is using the processor or the graphics card and the fans are needed to cool them. If the fans didn't come on then you would have problems.

Re: Fan Just Races
It doesn't happen to me, either on my laptops or desktops (I tried two of each).
