Recess a built in cabinet through the wall

Post by Rob Babcock »

Thanks for your help on the face frames!!

Now I have a cabinet with a face frame that is a "Flange" that will have its back surface flushed to the wall and the cabinet will be in a chamber under a staircase landing. How do I get eCabs to believe it can put a cabinet in there?

I have cut a hole in the wall in the wall editor, but this doesn't seem to get me anywhere...

Thanks!!

You just need to place the cabinet on the wall where you want it and then adjust the position from overhead so that the cabinet is pushed back into the wall. Make sure Free Style placement is selected. If you are placing multiple cabinets into a nook you could also put a wall across the back of the nook and then just place your cabinets on that wall.
