In this tutorial the example of placing a window and door shows the outline of casing/molding. when I follow the steps I do not see the outline as seen in the tutorial, the only shape that shows up is a single outline less the casing/molding. Where in the program is the feature to change this attribute.

When you are in the wall evevation mode and choose install wall specific items, choose door. There you will have the option to choose door color, trim color and make sure the boxes are checked to show the door and show the trim in whatever color you wish.

i don't have the video, but thats how I do it in the program.

Click on the Render Button (the Eyeball Icon) in Custom Layout and you will be able to see the window and door casings.
