Resize in Batch Problem

Post by Derrick Monson »

When I resize this 30" wide drawer bank to 21" wide in BATCH, the drawer depth's change from 22" to 20" even though the cabinet depth has not changed. I can see this in the nest diagrams or if I take the cabinet to the cabinet editor.

If I open the same 30" wide drawer bank directly in the cabinet editor and resize it to 21" wide, the drawers remain the desired 22" deep.

Re: Resize in Batch Problem

Derrick,

Thanks for catching this. I have this listed to be reviewed now.

There does seem to be an issue with Drawer Box resize when changing the dimensions coming into the batch. To get around this, you can do it in one of two ways that I have found.
1.) Resize cabinet as it is loaded into the batch, then take it to the CE and do a Construction Settings, then OK. This will regenerate the cabinet and fix the size of the drawer box.
2.) Load the cabinet into the batch, then take and resize it in the CE.

Both solutions seem to work well. We hope to have this issue resolved soon.

Thanks again.
