Drawer Box Issue

Post by Georgi Baltov »

Hi Guys,

I reported this one shortly after V6B1 was released and was looking forward to seeing it fixed in Build 2. Please take a look and let me know. Is it a program bug or I am doing something wrong? The same box cut good in V5 apart from the part editor cuts.

Please fix it.

Georgi,

Can you post the .hsf of the drawer box for me and maybe the job or cabinet that contains it too.

Georgi,

I have reproduced this issue. For some reason it is creating a really wide dado ONLY on the Right side of the drawer box (left side and all other parts are perfect). I will list this and have it resolved for the next build. However, you can get around this RIGHT NOW by simply changing the depth of the dados for the drawer box bottom to be slightly less than the dados made by the dbx front and dbx back. In your case simply change the dado depth for the dbx bottom to .248" instead of .25" and it will then CNC/Nest correctly. I would still like for you to post your drawer box HSF file so I can verify it to your exact box. Sorry for the inconvenience. (Please post your drawer box)

Hi Scott,

thanks for the suggestion. I tried putting fit clearance and it didn't work but I never actually thought of making the full dado less than .25". I will start cutting it the way you suggested.

I have attached the hsf file. Let me know if you need anything else from me. Thank you
