I have a counter top segment on a 45 degree angle to other to segments of the countertop. I need to cut a sink hole in the 45 degree segment to put the sink in. After I create the cutout geometry for the sink, how do I rotate it to align with the angle of the counter top segment?

Take the benchtop one step further into the part editor into the section called Contour.
When you are in that area, right click the top and select Apply Edges
Then, using the "Offset" button, you can either select Move or copy.
Using this feature, position the lines that you require representing the front and back lines of the cutout (parallel to the front edge of the coutertop)
Then, using the Line feature to draw perpendicular lines representing the left anf Right edges of the cutout.
Lastly, use the "Trim" function to create a chained rectangle.
Then you need to take the top back to the basic part editor (exit through the door button)
Once you are back in part editor, right click the screen and select "cut pocket using closed contour".
Then select the cutout shape (it will then go green)
