I've said it before on this forum and I'll do it again now.
I started with a home build router. There are hardware issue, controller issues and cad- cam issues. If you have a problem where each issue is by a different "vender" no one takes responsibility.
I own a thermwood router and the main reason is that from start to finish - machine to software - one place to go get the issue resolved. If you haven't experianced this you may not appreciate it, but it is huge.
Every problem that I have had - even my dumb ---- mistakes have been taken care of quickly and very courteously. The courteous is not found everywhere else, by the way.
I don't want to go back - no way!!!
