30 to 60 second delays while in LDE

Post by Donald Thomson »

When I'm trying to pan or zoom in LDE it takes anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds for anything to happen. Since it's not reacting I keep trying and then all of a sudden all the pans and zooms I tried start happening all at once.

Is this normal?

I've done all the hardware and driver updates.
Sincerely,

Don,

My delays aren't that long but there is a bout a five second delay when trying to pan zoom or rotate a room in the LDE.
I move the mouse then a few seconds later it jumps into place.

Kerry,

I'm not sure of the code base difference between the custom room layout and LDE. But there is a huge difference in response between the two areas. It would be nice of the LDE could use the same pan/zoom code as room editor. At least it would be tolerable to use and create drawings. I hope this is an area that Thermwood programmers are going to concentrate some effort for performance improvement.
