Positioning cabinets on the "backside" of a wall

Post by Donald Thomson »

I've got an interesting kitchen layout I'm doing the has cabinets on both sides of a single wall. I can position the cabinets on one side of the wall but can't figure out how to position the cabinets on the other side of the wall. How do you do this?

Thanks.

Donald, place a cabinet in the room then hi-lite it. Right click, select Edit Options>Rotate. Then rotate the cabinet the desired amount, then move it in Freestyle Mode.

Thanks Rick,

The problem I'm having is being able to view the wall when I select it and press "w". The main side is displayed so I can position the cabinets up and down as I need to. But I can't get to the cabinets on the other side of the wall to position them up and down. The right and left adjustment is no problem.

Don,

Create two walls half as thick, reverse the build direction on one and place them back to back.

After you press "W", then Select "Back" from the Wall View setting on the left hand pane under Placement Options.
