Changing cabinets from stain to paint?

Hey guys,

I have a built-in assembly that the customer originally wanted stain grade but now they want it painted - go figure.
I already have everything drawn and I don't really want to re-draw everything. Is there an easier way to change all the materials to paint? I figured out the plywood by changing global settings on each cabinet but what about doors, trim, frames, etc.? Is there a way to do the entire assembly at one time instead of individual cabinets?

You can change sheet stock in room lay out or batch cabinet area. It is possible to select each sheet stock you wish to change, then select a replacement from you sheet stock materials. All sheet stock in the entire job will then be changed to the replacement material you selected.

In room layout, just right click and select change sheet stock.

I create a sheet stock that I use for face frame material so I can make wholesale changes to the face frames as well.

You also can change doors/drawer fronts in room lay out as well as batch cabinet area.

If you have mouldings, you will have to take each cabinet or assembly to the cabinet editor to match texture to the new finish.

You can also go into material setup and change the color of the sheet stock that you used to create the job. When rendered, you will see the new pattern displayed - sometimes this is easier to eliminate the rebuild on large jobs. Of course you have to remember to change it back to eliminate confusion the next time you use that material.
