Shelf Editor and D/DF editor View

Post by Josh Rayburn »

I've noticed the change to perspective view in the editors, thanks! Love it.
Unfortunately it does not seem to reflect changes made in that editor until a rebuild occurs - is this how it was intended? I am most certainly not asking for additional rebuilds.....just curious :)
I still think it will be a very helpful change.
Thanks again!

Josh,

Yes, this is how the full screen view is intended to work (this is not new to bld 5). It was added for the main cabinet editor area a long time ago and, since it did not really harm anything, was left available in the sub editors. It is currently not designed to ensure that the cabinet is in a fully regenerated state in the subs. I know where you are leading with this Josh (spotting clashes/overlaps/etc.), and that is already on the wish list...

Scott,
What do you mean the "full screen view"? (F12?) That's not what happened here -
I just had a cabinet in the main editor and then took it to the shelf editor, and it stayed in perspective. So, being greedy, I went into the door and drawer front editor, and it was in perspective there too! :P I couldn't rotate it, but other than that it was identical to the main editor view. Everything else worked as usual.

 Hold on let me check it again........................................

WAIT! IT's GONE NOW!
did I just find a bug? hold on, let me try to reproduce that..................................

OK now I'm confused... :?

"I swear my car was making that noise just before I pulled in but now it's gone!!"
"Freakin' nutcase" muttered the mechanic under his breath

So I can't reproduce it now, but I'll keep my eyes peeled if it happens again
