We are still having the same major issue profiling parts in control nesting.
Door/Drawer editor opposite direction?.
Is there still a problem with the door/drawer editor, the exterior profile tool (additional offsets) are ok on screen in ecabs, but put through the supercontrol the tool offsets are in opposite direction?.
HI Ryan, Hopfully its not going to be the same scenario!

Stephen,
Thanks for all the information that you've submitted as we looked into this issue. This issue has been reproduced and documented.
Has this issue been resolved!
Is it possible to cut parts in control nesting and run a profile around the perimeter in the same nest [eg Chamfer, small radius] the parts were created the part editor not the
Door/drawer editor or the profile modeller as some of the parts are shaped, as simple as this sounds we have always had a major issue with this.
It is very possible to apply a profile to a piece in Ecabinets and then have Control Nesting apply this profile to the part. Are you wanting to run a single tool to create this profile or do you want the machine to model this profile? If you are wanting a single pass around a part with a specific tool, then you have to go into the mdf door options in the settings area even if the piece is not a door. In this situation, when the piece with the profile is not a door, region 1 on the part is the INTERIOR tool and region 2(if there is a region 2) is the EXTERIOR tool. If there is only one cut on the piece, then that would be region 1 and it will use the interior tool that you have selected. Now, if you are wanting the machine to model the profile, then it works differently. Control Nesting will pass the information into Profile Modeller. Profile Modeller will use the default group you have set to model the part and then return the code to Control Nesting, which will insert the code into the program it created. All of the information presented in the other post subject still applies to the Profile Modeler. If this doesn't answer your questions let us know.

Would you be willing to post the following:
the job file or the cabinet hsf file you are trying to profile
the profile geometry that you're using to create the custom tool (in dxf format)
the .tol file you're using
the z depth that you want to plunge the tool
If so I'll see what I can do to help you - I have done this successfully a number of times, but I cannot advise further without that info.

In some cases you will need to rename zip files etc.. to have a .txt extension to get them to upload. To get the files to Thermwood for review, simply use the software support email address: program@thermwood.com
I will continue to look further into this when I get a moment, but initially when looking at MDF Door tooling settings, I see a change that I believe is in order. The cut to center option prompts control nesting to get default tool group setup in Profile modeler. If you have the custom tool option tools selected, this will call tool from your THM tool manager and use for routing. You can have up to two regions, interior and exterior cut (T# must match tool you expect to call for cutting).
Hi Ryan
We have tried the MDF Door tooling settings and have gone through everything, checked that our tooling is set correctly when we tick the box custom tool interior the tool goes out of bounds if there is a tick on others the tool goes on the outside outline, this is marked red on the photo we sent
I would like to compare some notes when reviewing your files here... what tool # do you wish to have cut the exterior profile? and what dia. has been set for this tool in your tool manager ?
The tool is 26mm in diameter as we are working in metric, the tool #132 for the exterior profile and this tool is set in the tool manager and the default tool in the profile modeler.
