I did a search on the forum to see if this was once addressed but came up empty.
Can eCabs convert any of these files? We also have MasterCam but they don't seem to want ot convert easily. Maybe a newer version issue?

Re: ProE, IGES, and STP
Rob,
We can read in a 2d DXF files into {Drawings}, {Part Editor->Contour mode}, and {Shape Manager}. We can read 3d STL files into the {Display Part Editor}. DXF and STL are very common formats and MasterCam can output both (at least the full version will).

Re: ProE, IGES, and STP
Thanks, Scott. I have imported and used MasterCam to convert the file but the customer says this is a "dimensioned" drawing and whgat I actually see is a 3D model with no dimensions. Can I dimension it myself from this file? We speak a different language (literally) so rather than trry to interpret into English, can I just do it myself from here using "Analyze" or "measure" buttons?

Rob,
Can you attach the file for me to look at. I will be able to answer you better after seeing what you are working with. If you do not want the file on the forum, you can email it directly to me at { cabinets@thermwood.com } attn: Scott, and I will take a look at what you have.
