It would be great if we could turn a part 90 degs. will in part editor. This is because sometimes dxfs are oriented the wrong way and some like an ellipse are impossible to turn.
Hope this makes sense,
Forrest

Forrest,
You can rotate an ellipse using Accutrans 3D until you can do it in eCabinets.

Re: Change orientation in PE
Forrest,
You can also rotate geometry right now in eCabSys (in Shape Manager or Contour area of P.E.) by using the mirror command. So, to rotate geometry 90 degrees, mirror about a line drawn at 45 degrees, and then mirror once more using a horizontal or vertical line. If the geometry is symmetrical, you may not even have to do the second mirror. You can then move it in place if needed. Not as simple as a rotate command, but until we add this, it works. Hope this helps.

Re: Change orientation in PE
Here is a post I made back in 2008 explaining this same thing with a picture to go along with it.
http://www.thermwood.com/forums/viewtop ... ate#p42795
I failed to mention back then that the asymmetrical geometry would have to be mirrored once more about a vertical or horizontal line to be a true rotate.
