intermittent problem - resize in wall elevation

Hi - this one keeps popping up - I love the ability to resize cabinets in wall elevation, however it disappears randomly. When I open ecabs, I can resize in wall and overhead view, no problem. After a while, suddenly I'm unable to change size in wall elevation - still works in overhead. I haven't been able to identify a trigger. Does anyone else have this problem?
