We had a customer come in with an old piece of crown molding with some intricate embossing details.
I am wondering if anyone has done a custom molding with engravings or something similar and how they have gone about it.
We currently do not use any CAM programs which I am assuming would be the best choice for writing the toolpath, but I just wanted to test the waters and see if anyone had any input.
I am also curious if anyone commonly (and successfully) outsources programming or toolpathing for more detailed operations.

The profile Modeler will only be able to create the profile, not the intricate detailing in the part. We do offer custom programming here at Thermwood. If you contact Ryan Hochgesang (program@thermwood.com) he can look at the part and give you a quote on programming the part for you.
