I keep getting random .dat files named the same as my .twd files (sometimes and sometimes not) littered around the directories where I create my .twd's - does anyone know why these are being created, and if they are pertinent to something somehow? Should I be keeping them somewhere for future use or troubleshooting...?
As mentioned, sometimes they are there, sometimes not...

This file was used in conjunction with an automated face frame processing machine Thermwood offered at one time. Thermwood has since switched to puzzle joint face frame option to allow processing of face frame parts in a nest (.twd file). Unless you have the older face frame processor, the .dat file has no use.
Thanks Ryan, is there a way to get the files to stop vomiting onto my desktop? It's like I have a canadian goose stuck in my computer - you know you can always tell when a goose has been around since they leave so many droppings behind
