Re: import files
Ronald,
Save the .stl file from Osborne where you can locate it.
Open the Display Part Editor in eCabinets the open the .stl file in the Editor. Here you can add a texture etc. then save the file to use in eCabinets.
HERE is a .zip file containing most of the Osborne products already converted to .hsf format. (they have added some new stuff since I did this so I am missing some)You can unzip this file then place it on your eCabinets/Import folder and the products will be ready to use as Display Objects in Custom Layout or the Cabinet/Assembly Editor.
HERE is a .zip file o most of the Hardware Resources wood parts.
I think your file path in Windows 7 is C:\documents and settings\public\documents\thermwood\ecabinet systems\import to copy these files to.

Re: import files
Kerry, I hit your download, it went to downloads in computer,I opened ecabs/import and draged&dropped it, but when I right click I do not get EXTRACT ALL, it just try's to open in ecabs but ecabs say's it is an INVALID FILE TYPE.I must have completly gone crazy because I can not get ecabs to work with me. I really need this to design for local library project. Thank's, Ron

Re: import files
Ron,
Download the Osborn_Wood_Products .zip file to your desktop.
While still on the desktop, right click on the .zip file and you should see Extract All as an option (I just tried this in Windows 7 and it worked as well as in XP)
Choose Extract all and a wizard will open to guide you through the process.
The wizard will create a file Osborne_Wood_Products
Copy and paste this file to your eCabinets/Import directory
