Problem with KD/RTA Fasteners

Open the Standard Corner Framed Cabinet in the Cabinet Editor
Go to construction Settings Corner Settings tab
Change the cabinet into an angle front
Got to the Face Frame Editor and turn on Face Framed
Return to construction settings Left End Tab
Go to Construction Parameters
Change the Front Edge Setting for KD/RTA fasteners to Left Side
Click Apply and Exit Construction Parameters
Change the front construction on the left end to KD/RTA fasteners
Look where the construction is placed

Thanks for the post. I will get this listed. The deal is that it should not even allow you to turn on construction for that edge due to the fact that the parts are not perpendicular to each other. So, with that said, you will not want to use construction there because it will be disabled once fixed. You will notice that the right-click menu's tiered construction fly-out menu already has this disabled. Thanks again for the heads up on this.

That is going to create another problem.

I actually use this to place Pocket Holes for mounting face frames. If you disable this I will no longer be able to do this. As it is now I can add the pocket holes inside the cabinet but not outside. The right end place the pockets correctly.

I need this feature so I don't have to face nail the frames.

Well, that throws a wrench into the gears of how it's intended to work. I cannot allow construction that will cause a non-machinable part, or for that matter, an unstable part due to buried or partially buried construction. I know that your specific case does not have the post side created in the KD pattern, but most do and blind dado etc. will cause odd cuts. This would have to be some special unique case and normally that would be a task for the part editor. I will discuss this with the group and see what we feel makes the most sense here, but we will probably end up disallowing it. Thanks for the reply.
